Gerhard Schlaudraff

Gerhard Schlaudraff (BMUKN) is Director-General for International Environmental Protection and Climate Action at Germany`s Federal Ministry for the Environment, Climate Action, Nature Conservation and Nuclear Safety (BMUKN). Previously, he served as Deputy Director-General for Partnerships, Climate and Energy, and Migration at the Federal Foreign Office. He also headed the International Climate Finance Division at the Federal Foreign Office and worked as a Senior Fellow and Strategic Advisor at the Potsdam Institute for Climate Impact Research (PIK), focusing on the risks and impacts of global climate change and sustainable concepts towards a just climate future.
