Global Shield Solutions Platform (GSSP)Dr. Detken is the Head of the Global Shield Solutions Platform (GSSP) and Director of the Climate and Disaster Risk Finance and Insurance Competence Centre at Frankfurt School of Finance & Management. She brings over 25 years of experience in development finance, financial sector development and innovative climate finance. Previously, she held various positions at KfW Development Bank from 1999 to 2019. She oversees the GSSP, InsuResilience Solutions Fund and Global Risk Modelling Alliance, advancing innovative financial protection solutions for climate-vulnerable countries. Her expertise focuses on climate risk financing, insurance and strengthening financial resilience against climate-related losses and damages.
