Isaac Anthony

Isaac Anthony is the Chief Executive Officer of CCRIF SPC, the world’s first multi-country, multi-peril risk pool and a global leader in disaster risk financing and parametric insurance. Since 2013, he has led CCRIF’s expansion into a leading development insurer, now serving 40 members across the Caribbean and Central America and providing approximately US$1.8 billion in coverage. With over 30 years of experience in public finance, economic planning and institutional governance, Mr. Anthony is an internationally recognized advocate for climate resilience, innovative risk financing and financial protection for small island developing states and climate-vulnerable countries. Under his leadership, CCRIF has broadened its insurance solutions to protect governments, critical infrastructure, key economic sectors and vulnerable communities. He continues to champion the integration of disaster risk financing into climate adaptation, loss and damage frameworks and sustainable development, emphasizing the importance of pre-arranged financing in enabling rapid disaster response and recovery.
